Pastor Joe Owusu-Sechere, is the founder and senior pastor of Divine Grace Church in Arlington, Texas. He is a multi-gifted man of vision whose life embraces destiny and purpose. He has a deep hunger to win souls for Christ and is committed to serving God and dedicated to follow wherever The Lord may lead. Pastor Joe as he is affectionally called is a product of DeVry University and a former professional in the Computer Engineering Industry. He worked for EXE Technologies, Dallas, Texas, and Perot Systems, Richardson, Texas as a Systems Engineer before giving up his profession to respond to the calling of God upon his life. Pastore Joe is now pursuing his graduate studies at Dallas Baptist University – Gary Cook Graduate School of Leadership and His Master of Arts in Christian Education (MACE).

In March 17, 2002 Pastor Joe was ordained as a Reverend Minister of the Gospel by Christ for the Nations Institute “Fellowship Ministers and Churches” in Dallas, Texas, and is currently a member in good standing.

Pastor Joe’s ministry actually began in November 1998 in Irving, Texas when he started a Prayer ministry in his apartment with his family. The prayer ministry grew and was moved from the apartment to the Northgate YMCA building. The prayer ministry later became All Nations Full Gospel in the year of 1999. Two years later The Lord led Pastor Joe to pioneer Divine Grace Church, which began in the humble beginnings of a member’s home in Grand Prairie, Texas. As the ministry grew new locations became available and in 2010 the Church moved into its 3.78-acre location a 677 East Interstate 20 in Arlington, Texas.

Pastor’s Joe Unique presentation of the gospel and knowledge of the world have contributed immensely to the spiritual and numerical growth of the church. The driving force behind his tenacity in doing God’s work is his absolute confidence in God’s faithfulness. He believes that God cannot fail and even if He wants to fail, He will fail to fail. He also believes that “The will of God will not take him to where His grace cannot keep him” and “whatever God will ask him to lift, He will give him the strength to carry.” He attributes his success in ministry first to the faithfulness of God and to his wife Rev. Patience Owusu-Sechere (co-founder) who is a great prayer warrior and an intercessor. God has blessed them with five God-fearing children (Gabriel, Patricia, Dan, Joel, and Anna) who are all actively serving at the Divine Grace Church with their parents. They now have four grandchildren (Arianna, Julian, Timothy, and Alayna).
